Personal Training

It is easy to get a hard workout these days but personal training is much more than just a way of working out. Each session is designed to your ability and preferences and works towards your specific goals.

Personal Training starts with a free no obligation consultation, this is where we set out goals and discuss lifestyle and fitness history. Take a few measurements and identify current fitness levels. This gives me the information to develop an exercise program. This consultation usually last 1 hour With me as your personal trainer you will learn how to do exercises correctly and why they benefit you.

I use different types of exercise to ensure sessions are varied and enjoyable, these include high intensity interval training, resistance work, calisthenics, strength and conditioning work, balancing and games.

Each training session is part of a structured progressive program, directed to your goals. All equipment will be provided by the trainer, and sessions can take place in your home, garden, local park or gym (provided the gym has no objections, any costs incurred will be met by the client).

Sessions last 1 hour including Warm up, main exercises, cool down and stretching.

Weight Management Strategies

A fantastic combination of Nutritional advice with a specific exercise program. Consultations are the same as for Personal Training but will last about 1.5 hours as additional nutritional information will be gathered. Food Diaries will be completed before each session. There are two sessions a week each lasting 1.5 hours.

At the first session you will receive your personalised detailed 4 week program of exercises and nutritional advice developed to reach your goals. The program will involve your metabolic type and rate, pre and post exercise nutrition, meal planning, energy intake and expenditure, and of course your likes and dislikes. Each session is vital to obtain results.
